It's just a crappy diner. Nothing special, they have good bloody Mary's and that's it. I found mold in my hashbrowns.. And my eggs were over cooked and served with burnt bacon.

They are no longer open 24/7 everyday, only on weekends now. Food is still great HUGE variety of everything. I love that it is that small town diner atmosphere in yet they have a full blown bar so you can get any drink you could want. Seating and décor is still very outdated.

Went with my wife for lunch today, after nearly 30 minutes and no order taken we left and went to Hello Folks across the street...awesome place that Hello Folks...please do the same and flush Dino's Den from your toilet of crappy joints and just cross the street and get better food, prices and guess what, we met the mayor of Fox Lake there... He's got good taste! Dino's was my grandpa's fav joint for their signature beef short ribs, he'd never have had a chance to order them at the new Dino's! Pas on this joint! Go to Hello Folks and enjoy Cheers like hospitality. We met a wonderful Viet Nam bet there from the air force and anonymously picked up his bill. God live our hero's and great places like Hello Folks!

Food is average. This place is best when drunk and the bars are closed. I don't know why anyone would eat here if other options were available.

This once was a staple of dining in Fox Lake, a landmark that everyone knew and frequented. Not anymore in the last few years the quality of the entire establishment has gone down tremendously. The wait staff is always extremely slow and inattentive and the food quality has dropped while the prices have shot up. This is how you ruin a once fine establishment. If this continues I think Dino's Den will be no more very soon.

The food is average. The prices are about the same as the places in this area . The service is ok. We come here on a regular basis. The wife had potatoe pancakes this morning and said that they were not very good. This is good place to get something to eat if your in a hurry

Seriously, this place is low quality, low passion in what they serve. You get what you pay for, or so they say, I've yet to get my monies worth and their prices are cheap'ish. This is the kind of place people used to look for to eat after midnight when drunk, but then would avoid when sober. Thing is ever since fast food restaurants went to late night hours, this kind of place has no appeal at any hour or sobriety level.

Stopped in for lunch and I just wasn't impressed. I had the cream of broccoli soup, which was kind of tasteless, and the gyros sandwich which was good. There just wasn't anything about the food, service, or decor that will make me a return customer.

Since they've changed owners, the food has gone down hill and the prices have gone up. They have a salad bar but you can only make one trip there (although there are no signs posted); so be sure to take all you might want the first go through on your little plate!

If you havent considered this place as a business dinner event location, I suggest you start now. Great location, accessible, affordable and fresh made food. There is ample space for a least 50 people in 2 sectioned off areas, the bar, and the upper level toward the back of the restaurant. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is good, and reasonably priced for any serve at the table eatery. Located near the train station, they are open 24hrs, when other closer eateries are not. I look forward to holding breakfast meetings consitently here.

Oh man. Dino's used to be my late night spot when I was in high school. How cool did I think I was, sipping my coffee and eating my mozzarella sticks at 11:45pm? Oh yeah, I was awesome. Oh wait, is it time for my curfew? Crap. I'd run out at 11:50 with everyone else trying to make their midnight curfew. It was hysterical. Decent coffee, decent food, waitresses who chain smoke out back? Check.

Eh, I wasn't so impressed with this joint back in the day so you can't really base anything off of this review. But I did visit here a few times late at night & the service wasn't so attentive & the food was soso. I perferred going to Blue Bay or Denny's over Dino's.

OPEN 24 HOURS! This is a casual, family-dining style diner (think Denny's). The food is as good as you would expect, and there is a very decent selection of food. Their whole menu is always available regardless of the time. I ate there late last night, around 1 am, while waiting for the train. The waitress was so nice and attentive and gave us extra food. I would recommend the fried mushrooms....delicious late night snack! There is also a bar attatched, but it is seperated from the main eating area.
